Many people are strugging in today’s economy, bogged down by uncertainty and fear. Questions such as “Will I be able to pay my bills? Can I afford that? How do I get out of debt? How can I make more money?” run through their minds. Because financial education isn’t taught in school, at least not to everybody, many people have money problems. The most common advice for making more money is to spend less or increase the amount of money that you’re making. Sometimes that isn’t always possible. Especially when the economy declines, getting and keeping a job is hard enough for most people, let alone getting a raise and actually making a profit by being an employee. As for expenses, we as human beings are often tempted to buy bigger and better things, trying to keep up with the Joneses just because we feel that we deserve it. After all, isn’t that the point of working? So that you can have nice things? Shouldn’t we be able to buy whatever we want? I want to enjoy life while I’m still able to.

These are all valid points. Life is far too short to worry about being able to afford food and paying off the debt and bills. Don’t you wish there was a better way? Well, there is. However, you won’t attain it by being an employee. Unfortunately, the economy is rigged against employees. They pay the most taxes, make the least amount of money, have the least benefits, and have the myth known as job security. You can work as hard as you want, and for as long as you want, but no matter what you do, you will only be paid a certain amount per hour. If you’re a specialist, you get paid far more than a normal job but in addition to that, you will also get more taxes and more liabilities. The temptation of buying more stuff and the risk of getting sued by someone only increases as you accumulate more wealth. So what can we do?

The answer is to become an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is a provider of sorts. They create and manage new ideas, start up a businesse, sell products, and invoke new ways of thinking. If you are an entrepreneur, not only do you make more money as you work more, you can also pay less in taxes. An entrepreneur creates businesses, which give products and services to the people. They provide the jobs and stimulate the economy. If you want to make money, being an entrepreneur is definitely a good bet. The reason being is because if you are a provider, if you help people solve their problems, you will always succeed with your business. Being your own boss also has its own benefits as well. As your business grows, you take the profits from your business and reinvest it. You pay other people to work for you or you can help your company grow so that it can help more people. If you are now the boss, you can make money by working less than before due to employee leverage. Employees are often employees because they want to be. They don’t look for new ideas or a way out of their life. If you want a better life, you have to act and go for it yourself. Other people can’t help you, only you can. If you don’t want to escape your life and you’re satisfied where you are now, then you can stop here. But if you hate living life the way you do now and you don’t see yourself doing the same thing in twenty years, then continue reading.

A business is only helpful when it helps solves problems. If it scams people, the business structure will not last for long. If you want to be a successful business, then you have to please your customers, as they are your lifesource. “Why would I care about that?” You may ask. “I only want to make money.” Well, the fact is that people that are rich are rich because they help others. It’s a way of karma. Often when you see rich people, you may think that they are greedy, that they don’t help people and they steal from others. That is not true. Not all rich people are bad. There may be stingy rich people but there are also stingy poor people too. Just because you happen to have more money does not make you bad or good. Making lots of money is often the result of success. Many people think having lots of money makes you a success. That is not true. Thier thinking is the opposite of the real world. You may have lots of money, but that alone does not make you successful. If you are successful, money will come to you. If you are not successful, but you have lots of money, it will disappear from you very fast.

Becoming successful will allow you to escape your current situation, where you’re free to do what you want to do. You can spend time with family and friends, enjoy a hobby, ignite a passion, etc. Don’t let your life pass you by. Having regrets is never a good feeling, so why bother continuing on with your life if you don’t enjoy it? Life is supposed to be fun. An adventure. And the only way that will happen is if you persue freedom. Become an entrepreneur now! Live your dreams, create your own business, make money, become successful, and live life to the fullest. Do it while you still can. After all, what do you have to lose?
